This three-day, hands-on class will introduce students to the foundational concepts of the Shen-Hammer Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis system – the “Hallmark of Chinese Medicine Diagnosis”. Through the understanding of the detailed terminology and development of subtle skills of differentiation, pulse diagnosis can accurately show the practitioner past and current health trends within the patient thus supporting the ability to craft a comprehensive treatment plan for long-lasting treatment results. In this class you will learn the foundational pulse diagnostic techniques, deepen your palpation skills, and learn to accurately interpret pulse qualities to craft a treatment strategy that forms the basis of long-term treatment planning for your patients.

- Large Segments and Stability of the Pulse
- Common Qualities
- Depth Calibration
- The 28 Individual Primary and Complementary Positions with Common Qualities found in Individual Positions
Participants of this class will receive a 4 hour pre-recorded teaching lecture 30 days prior to class to watch and rewatch at your leisure. This class is suitable for new and continuing students of pulse.
