Dr.Monica Brown (they/them) is nationally board certified in East Asian Medicine through the NCCAOM and licensed as an acupuncturist in Missouri. They manage their private practice, Kindred Currents Acupuncture and Holistic Medicine, in the Dutchtown neighborhood of St. Louis, MO.
They received their doctorate from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon where they studied Classical Chinese medicine, Shen-Hammer pulse diagnosis, Shang Han Za Bing Lun herbalism, Shiatsu, and Jinjing gong. Monica has studied Shen-Hammer pulse diagnosis with Brandt Stickley, Stephen Higgins, Ross Rosen, and Tracy Soltesz.
Monica is a general practitioner and specializes in support for histories of trauma, mental health and neurodivergence in all its forms, and chronic autoimmune conditions.
